DL-FEP Product Line Description
The DL-FEP Product Line is a set of operational and validation ATN data link systems:
The DL-FEP Product Line Systems have been developed jointly by EGIS AVIA and SITA.
The DL-FEP Product Line is composed of a set of software components that can be selected independently on from the others, to build solutions compliant with the customer requirements (from experimental to fully operational ATN routers, integrated into a global operational system management).
The DL-FEP Systems are compliant with ICAO and European Data Link Implementation Rules Standards.

The DL-FEP System acts as a gateway between the operational ATC systems operated by the Air Traffic Service operators (Flight Data Processing System and Controller Working Positions) and the data link equipped aircraft. In addition to operating the ATN and FANS application protocols for CPDLC, ADS-C and D-FIS, the DL-FEP provides Aircraft Management functions (like white and black lists, logon control, etc...). It can be integrated in the operator's SNMP-based System Management environment. The resilient configuration provides a high service availability through automatic re-start and/or operational/standby switch mechanisms.
The DL-FEP Test System
The DL-FEP Test System is a Data Link Server automatic test environment providing both manual and automatic means to test CPDLC, ADS-C and D-FIS applications in so-called full-harness and half-harness test environment. In full-harness environment, the DL-FEP Test system emulate all the systems interfaced with the server: multiple ATN and FANS aircraft, the ground FDPS, the SNMP Manager and the Local Recording System. In half-harness environment, one or several emulated systems are replaced by the operational real systems, allowing to develop a stepped integration approach. The DL-FEP Test System provides either user-friendly aircraft and FDPS Man-Machine Interfaces for free testing or IBM (c) RTRT-based scenario for automatic non-regression testing.

The DL-FEP Aircraft Simulator Interface System
The DL-FEP Aircraft Simulator System operates the airborne part of the ATN protocols (application, ULCS, Transport, CLNP, IDRP) for one to 100 aircraft and provides an end system (like an aircraft simulator) with an air Application Programmatic Interface (API).
